Testimonials from Teachers

Our students have been using the Help Me 2 Learn Language Arts programs for about 5 years. They are programs the children in Pre-K through 8 willingly come back to again and again. The characters in the programs speak clearly and precisely and there are numerous occasions for positive auditory and visual reinforcement. Children earn gold and silver stars for their knowledge. This encourages them to keep striving for more stars and increase their knowledge as they do so.

To see a first grader spend 45 minutes and more on a program, singing the tunes, reading aloud, and carrying on conversations with the characters in the program, I know we are doing something right!

Our reading scores have gradually risen every year that we have been using the programs. I am able to check student progress through the teacher utilities and even print out reports for the parents.

This year we began using the online versions of the Help Me 2 Learn programs and our parents have gotten involved in the activities at home. Children can access their accounts from school or home and continue earning gold and silver stars. Having the website access is really easy to manage and great for the families. Excited students come to me and tell me about their success using the programs on their computers at home. Parents are so grateful that their children are spending time doing educational work online. I am pleased at the students' progress.

I can't praise the company enough for their efforts to enhance, enrich and support the education of the children in our school.

Superstar Phonics is an excellent program where students may practice and refine their standards based reading skills. My second grade students have benefited through the use of Phonics 2B program. Each week the children eagerly look forward to having the opportunity to practice a variety of skills. I have found the syllabication activity to be extremely beneficial and have seen test scores improve as a result of the extra practice. The spelling game, with the silent e, proved to be motivating as the children were allowed to build a race car as they mastered this skill. Having been in the education field for the last 10 years, I have found this to be one of the best software programs for children to practice reading and phonics skills.

Thank you.

I would first like to tell you how much our school district loves all of the Help Me 2 Learn products. From the teacher standpoint I loved to use the program with all of my students. It is amazing to watch them learning their sounds when they believe that they are competing in a game or learn how to build compound words. The teachers in my school loved the fact that I could print off reports that went along with their report cards and standards. Help Me 2 Learn has also been beneficial for helping our student achieve higher test scores on their standardized testing and reading comprehension.

I would recommend your computer program Help Me 2 Learn Phonics to any teacher. This program has been engaging for the students and valuable as a support for teaching the California State Standards. The activities were organized in such a way as to allow the students to pace their own learning with easy directions so students could work independently while in the computer lab. I know the "gold star" achievement award became a big motivating factor for my students. They were reviewing important second grade phonemic elements and loving it. Thanks again.

I want to let educators as well as parents know how Help Me 2 Learn software can benefit all children. These programs enable children to memorize different rules and sounds through songs. The tunes set to words really stay with the children along with the animation. All these things hold their attention. I have studied lots of software and there are none so far that can compare with yours.

Your software has been a real life saver for my students. My students just love using your programs. You never have to ask them twice whether they would like to work on the computer with your programs. They enjoy all the wonderful games so much that it is hard to get them to stop working. They have so much fun that they don't even realize that they are learning. In my 21 years as an elementary school teacher, I've never seen anything like it. Not only do students have fun using your program, all their test grades went up in the areas tested both by the program and on the state standards. I would gladly recommend your program to anyone.

I have been teaching for 12 years. I have been mostly teaching first grade and love each and every one of my students. I also teach Special Ed and find that more rewarding than words can ever say. This is where your programs are especially appreciated, although my first graders have fallen in love with your program. My Special Ed class consists of children who are only mildly challenged and need that special one on one experience. Your programs just bring a special light to their eyes which I have never seen before. My children feel the same way. Each time they pass a level they just light up and say, "Mom I did it!". The best thing, though, is that they want to learn more. This stood out when I beta tested your program. While some programs may teach, yours inspire the love of learning, a big difference which I do not believe that other companies realize.

I can attest to the fact of how well your programs work. Unlike other programs of the same genre, yours are geared toward learning on an individual scale. As a teacher and parent, I know how important it is for each child to get individual help when learning and not just a blanket program which assumes that each child of the same age is on the same level. This is where your programs stand alone in performance. Not only do they allow each child to learn at their own pace, but by allowing them to do this, they also give each child the true feeling of accomplishment, instead of a feeling of not being equal with their peers. I cannot say enough how important this is, as too many of my students have become discouraged when they feel they cannot keep up with others. Your programs allow them to set their own pace and to do it at a fun but also age appropriate level of challenge. Your programs are the kind which all parents and educators are always looking for and when we find them we are grateful beyond words. They not only are self pacing but also come with some of the cutest characters, which come in all shapes and colors, as well as songs which the children hum for days.

My first initial learning of this great program was approximately eleven years ago. I was obtaining my Master's degree through the University of Michigan (Flint Campus) in Special Education. I was doing some of my professional hours at a summer school program in Linden for students who struggled and they had bought licenses for this program. I could not believe how it helped.

I have been tutoring students since 1999 both gifted, and in special education. I have for over the past half dozen years purchased the program for my own students to help with their deficits.

I still use this program for multiple students with issues from Kindergarten up to 4th grade. It has really helped multiple students and I've had quite a few successes with it. I've tutored some students for ten or more years with starting them on it and they are all 4.0 GPA and graduating this year as well as they have tested out of special education programs.

I like the football game. I think it's fun and easy.

I liked the syllables game and the board breaking game. I also liked the basketball game.

I liked all the games. They were all fun. I liked the tricky word tennis and the downhill ski race game best. The best part about them is that they are challenging and hard but at the same time fun. The downhill ski race game is kind of hard but I was able to get a gold-medal.

I like the syllables game is fun to work on it because you get to play and learn at the same time. It's fun to work with all the games. I liked the basketball game too, because it was easy. This computer thing is easy. I liked everything about this. The games are so much fun. I like to work with these games more than anything else.

It was fun and easy. The easiest one for me was the basketball game and cross-country race. I got a lot of gold medals. The hardest was the spelling game and kayaking game. I almost got a gold medal, but I got a silver instead, because I got one wrong. I learned about root words, suffixes and prefixes.

Some of the games are hard, but some of the games are easy. I liked the review games because it has people that you can choose. I liked the football review game because it was very, very easy and the syllable game was easy too. The pre-test was very hard because I didn't know some of the answers. I like the pattern long-jump game because you have to jump to more than 15ft. I like the basketball game because you can do to slam dunks. I like the tennis game because you can hit the ball. I like to play the football game because you get to run with the ball and press the buttons fast. I like the skiing game because you get to do tricks and go off jumps. I like the basketball sorting game. I like the patterns long jump game and I also like the spelling game and the syllables board breaking game. I forgot to mention that I like all the games because they're fun and easy.

What I like is the basketball sorting game and I like the syllables board breaking game. I like all the games.

I like the syllable board breaking game because there were some words on boards that you had to break on the board in two syllables.

This software is fun. I liked the board breaking game. It's fun. Some of it is hard and some of it is easy but it's all fun. I also like the review game because it's easy and some of it is fun too.

I liked the football game because it's fun. I like the basketball game too because it's fun and when I'm sad it cheers me up. I think the skiing game is fun too. I like all the games. They are all fun. Sometimes I play with my sister. I enjoy these games a lot.

I like the basketball and tennis review game sessions. I think the review games are easy fun to play.

The part I liked best about the software was the homophones. It's a fun way to learn and play at the same time. It was the best time I ever had. I thought it was a good experience. I played with another student and she let me take the quizzes all by myself. I had to use headphones to hear. There were lots of other things to play on the computer too. I am a new student at the school. This experience was different from other schools that I've been to.

This is what parents, home schoolers, grandparents, and others are saying about our products.

I have been telling everybody I know about your program. I have been using it with my son and my husband to improve both of their literacy. The phonics is so easy and it taught me better as a teacher how to approach it with my child. Finally. We have plans to learn Spanish as well so the phonics section in Spanish and espanol would be incredibly easy for me as a non-native speaker of Spanish to help with my son to learn it. Because our son has High Functioning a Autism, it is hard to get him to focus and your program has actually worked in astonishing ways. So thank you, thank you, thank you!

I have the full Star Program for my Home-school family. The kids have been using it a lot, and I must say it is one of my best ever purchases! The children love it! They want to use it even out of school time, and find joy in achieving the stars, as well as the rewards they gain of creating animals, and playing interactive games as they go. It is a relief to me as a sole-parent Home-school mum to have my children (now age 8, and twins age 5) working on their maths, reading, and Spanish without needing my continual input! This has enabled me to spend more time on all the other lovely areas of learning (as well as still spending reading time etc. with them). The learning is high quality, but the children feel like they're playing games! I am so grateful for this program. Thank you HelpMe2Learn for helping my three to learn! Kind regards

I am so impressed with the Help Me 2 Learn Company and their phonics and now math software packages. I am a homeschooling parent of a 9 year old 4th grader who loves working on the computer and of course playing games. Help Me to Learn has taken the love of computers and learning while playing and has combined them in awesome software with fabulous graphics and great games. The cost of their products are phenomenal for what they offer. I don't have a large budget and Help Me 2 Learn offers many great combination packages. I was so happy that they created a math package. I hope that they continue to do what they do.

I just wanted to let you know how impressed I am with the Help Me 2 Learn computer programs! We have the Phonics 1a, 1b, 2, and 3 programs and we love them all! I homeschool my children. Two are in 2nd grade and one is in Kindergarten. They all enjoy and continue to learn from these programs...they really do "Help them 2 Learn!" Thanks and God bless you!

My son was struggling with phonics until he started using "Phonics 1a - Vowel Sounds" by Help Me 2 Learn. I was totally amazed at how this program turned him around and how quickly he picked up phonics using this program. He went from a 50% on a test grade to using your program and in a couple of weeks he turned that grade to a 100%. As a working parent most of us don't have time to teach them at home. I had even tried going to the parent supply store but nothing worked like Help Me 2 Learn. I wish as a parent I knew about this program when he was 4 years old. I love watching him on the program the way it breaks everything down to his age level. I never thought he would want to rush home to play on the computer. It was funny yesterday he told me he wished we had a computer in the car so he can play Phonics 1b. Thanks for all your help! I have another son who is 3 right now and I think teaching him to read will be very easy through Help Me 2 Learn. I strongly recommend it for all.

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that I have really enjoyed the complete phonics set (Letters and Numbers, 1a, 1b, and Phonics 2) as I am teaching my son Zach to read (he is a preschooler).

My wife and I have purchased a lot of titles to help our son get a handle on phonics. There are a lot of creative CD-ROM's on the market but I like yours the best.

The primary reason is that it is so comprehensive. I really wanted a product that would allow my children to actually learn to read when they had finished the series.

I truly believe that a lot of parents and teachers underestimate children's ability to learn at a young age. Jane and I are a little worried that he might be bored in a regularly paced classroom, but that is one dilemma I am willing to deal with when he goes to school. I told my wife that one of these days, someone is going to rip the lid off the stale classroom learning environment that is typical of most elementary schools. I think that software like the phonics series from helpme2learn.com is a great example of that.

Being a concerned parent, I try to do whatever I can to help with the development of my children's education. I am the father of a developmentally challenged 7 year old. In addition to A.D.D., she also has speech problems which she gets therapy for daily. I have purchased several products in the past to hopefully spurn her seeds of knowledge. In most cases CD's were played once or twice. Your product has been used repeatedly, often on a daily basis. There is a wonderful challenge for her to try for that gold star, and there seems to be just the right mix of activities to keep my child interested. I can't thank you and your staff enough for developing such wonderful products.

I love it when at bed time she'll spell words that she couldn't before, and believe it or not her diction has also improved by leaps and bounds since your products have been introduced to her.

Thank you so much.

Joe Hillstock

I have downloaded the program links successfully. I am amazed with this reading system. It's fun, interactive and well-presented. I had a tough time sending the children to bed — they were having so much fun. Thank you very much for this excellent educational tool. I can't wait to buy other downloadable versions.

There are a lot of different children's educational and entertainment CD's. But my 2 year old granddaughter pulls out the Help Me 2 Learn Company's - Letters and Numbers all the time. The animation, music and motion keeps her attention throughout the whole program (unlike the other programs). It is definitely her favorite program.

Karen Christoff
Sanqus, CA

The Help Me 2 Learn Company's Letters and Numbers is an exceptionally well thought out learning tool. While being entertaining, it is still challenging to my son who has just turned 4. This is his second CD. The first one was Sesame Street which is primarily fun and entertainment but does teach some learning skills.

The Letters and Numbers CD provides an excellent platform for learning. I highly recommend it. It allows for errors and provides a pathway (clues to the correct answer) which allows for the child to still feel success while he makes mistakes in his learning curve. Very well thought out.

I purchased Letters & Numbers and Phonics 1a-2b in February '08, and we are hooked. My 8-year-old, who could already read, has done nothing but improve with Phonics 2. My 4-year-old, who is reading complete sentences, learned by using Phonics 1, and Letters & Numbers Student Edition was a great starter. These programs are comparable to BJU and Alpha Omega, which I have spent hundreds on. Super Star is lower in price but not in value; my kids have learned quickly and thoroughly with these products!!! No pieces to lose, nothing to get out of order, and the testing is within the system — you can't beat it. We have downloaded the free trial for Math 3, and it is great — better than our math program which I spent $60.00 on. I will be purchasing this and a few more programs soon. These programs are geared for kids but NOT dumbed down. There is no need to stand over the kids: it runs by itself and the kids don't whine that they're bored.

The people are great and very helpful. When I lost my downloads due to a computer crash, I called them up and they sent me the downloads within 5 minutes. Now, if we could convince them to make History and Science software, our life would be complete. Thanks Help Me 2 Learn.

“My child always had difficulty in solving math problems. He faced problems in basic addition and subtraction of numbers, and we were worried as to how he will manage. My wife suggested that we should take help from the Help Me 2 Learn platform. The Letters and Numbers course made it very simple for my child to learn the basics of the subject.” - John Garcia

“My daughter has always been good in math but not in formulating correct sentences. She always made silly errors, and that’s when I came across this wonderful platform. I made my daughter learn from 3 courses. I really like how all these courses are well-structured and made easy for the tiny tots to digest.”- William Brown

“Teaching students has never been easier before our school took help from the courses provided by Help Me 2 Learn. The platform has given way to smart learning, which widens the knowledge horizon of the students.”- Ava Smith

I like the syllables game is fun to work on it because you get to play and learn at the same time. It's fun to work with all the games. I liked the basketball game too, because it was easy. This computer thing is easy. I liked everything about this. The games are so much fun. I like to work with these games more than anything else.

It was fun. It was easy. The quizzes were easy too. I finished the games too. I liked the long jump game. I got a lot of medals. I got a gold medal on the long jump, basketball, football, and the skiing game too. I had a gold medal on the tennis game too. I got a gold medal on the board breaking too.

I liked the basketball sorting game because it was fun and easy. I liked the kayaking game but it was kind of hard and at the same time, it was easy.

I like the syllables game because you get to split the words.

I did see an improvement in my students skills with basic operations after using Super Star for the school year. The program was engaging the students really enjoyed using it. Normally they are reluctant to work on basic operations but this program eliminated that resistance.
